New year, new me... right? Over the holiday's I ordered the ParaPro Formula from Organic Olivia. I was really inspired by her story because she was facing similar issues as me. Aside from this cleanse, her website is awesome and very robust. I encourage everyone who sees this to visit her page. I may or may not have any parasites but I'm excited to try it out.

If you are anything like some of my family and friends, you think I am pretty crazy for doing a parasite cleanse. People just do not talk about parasites because we live in the USA. As Americans, I think we are pretty delusional to think our food to grown, produced, and processed in a safe way.

I'll start with a few questions most people have before committing to a month long cleanse (I also have fear of commitment):

How long is the cleanse?

This is a 30-45 day cleanse. You can choose to take 4 or 6 pills a day

Is the cleanse highly regimented?

NO. Which is exactly why I bought it. Two to three pills before a meal twice a day is so easy.

Do I have to change my diet?

Sort of. The cleanse comes with a short ebook which outlines how you should eat while cleansing and I think most of it is common sense (no junk, fatty, high sugar, deep fried foods). Users should stick to hearty veggies and fruits.

Bathroom situation?

According to the ebook, you should not be going more than usual. You are flushing your system and, if there are parasites, you will be pooping them out. A little gross but I'd rather see them in the toilet then have them in my gut. I am already pretty good at drinking half my weight in ounces of water but it might take time for some people to get used to going to the restroom that often.

Lastly, I probably won't write a blog post every day, but I'll be sure to update as I move along :)
